These are two views from our hotel in Manhattan, New York. Pretty overwhelming when you're not used to the tall skyscrapers.
We spent a few days in Connecticut during our trip to New York City. It was a very nice relaxing trip. We traveled to Greenport, Long Island by an Amtrak train, caught a taxi to Orient Pt. Then hopped on a ferry that took us across Long Island Sound to New London, Connecticut. The next morning, we rented a car and drove to Mystic, Connecticut. Of course, while we were there, we had to sample Mystic's finest in pizza. Do the pictures above look familiar? Well, it should if you have ever watched the move "Mystic Pizza". This is where the movie was filmed.
This is a picture of Main Street in Mystic. It's a beautiful town.
This is the dock in in front of the Amtrak station in New London, Connecticut. It was about 7:00 a.m. when the fog was being burned off by the sunrise. You couldn't even see the end of the dock earlier.
